This is a version of Double Bunny as taught to me by my old friend and mentor Stuart Livingstone. Stu has passed on but his creation remains. This pattern has caught some of my largest trout to date. A 15 pound rainbow, 22 pound bulltrout, and 6 pound cutthroat to name a few. . It is my goto fly when the hole is dominated by one very large fish. It is a deadly pattern for any large predatory fish on earth, swap thehook for stainless in salt and use kevlar thread. My favorite colors are double white, white with pink, and white and light blue. Make it catch you many fish as it has for me.

it's true, the lighting sucks. I learned about that later ;)

  • it most certainly was. i filmed this tying vid and the "spot" the day before we filmed The Boulder Gardens. Caught this one about a km down from where we caught the big boy in the feature. We'll be filming in there again this year too, not the river, but the lake it flows from.
