Bonvenon al Easperanto. Easperanto is an easy YouTube course on the international auxiliary language, Esperanto. "Bonvenon!" is an introductory video. http://green.us.to/
----
Hello, and welcome to Easperanto, an easy YouTube adventure through the world of Esperanto. In this video, we will discuss the purpose of the Easperanto series. Learning a second language is a difficult thing. Of course, you don't remember learning your first language. Learning Esperanto, however, is not all that bad, and will aid you greatly. Some commonly cited benefits of learning Esperanto include: international communication with other speakers, a better understanding of ALL grammar and languages, and of course, it's fun. If you learn Esperanto today, learning Spanish, German, Italian, or French tomorrow will be much easier. Esperanto is also used in books, magazines, websites, and chat rooms, and of course, Wikipedia. Just the other day, I was on the internet and found some people speaking Esperanto. Of course, I didn't get much more than a saluton, the Esperanto word for "Hello." But maybe you'll have better luck. There are many resources on the web or maybe even at your book store or library that will help you learn Esperanto. Some of these include lernu.net, a great interactive website that has lessons, forums, a dictionary, and more; The Esperanto Teacher, a public domain book; or various text books available on Amazon. Easperanto aims to be yet another resource for learning Esperanto. YouTube is one of the greatest human inventions ever. Learning on YouTube is one of the most effective ways to learn. Of course, you can't learn everything about Esperanto by passively watching a few videos. But Esperanto is so concise and easy that Easperanto will help you get to the basics. From here, you will probably want to expand your language by practicing communication, or reading a book on--or in--the language. To borrow from The Esperanto Teacher, you are strongly advised to cultivate the habit of thinking in Esperanto from the beginning of your study. To do this, you should try to realize the idea mentally, without putting it into English words. For example, when learning the word rozo or kolombo, bring the object itself in front of the mind's eye instead of repeating "rozo, rose; kolombo, pigeon." Picture the rose. Picture the pigeon. This video format will obviously help in this area, but it's up to you. So, get to it. Maybe ask a friend to learn with you. Whatever it takes, you will not regret it. Get started, get learning. Bonvenon al Easperanto. Visit Easperanto on the web at green.us.to.
