The Creepiest Japanese Mascot

This is Sento-kun, character mascot for the old, and culture filled city of Nara. He is also the creepiest, most rage inducing character I have ever set my eyes on. This thing shouldn't BE. It makes Youtube vloggers rage, and children cry. Won't SOMEBODY please think of the vloggers and children?

Oh, and to see Manto-kun, the mascot it replaced as the No. 1 mascot (which is actually really cute, look here: http://no-sword.jp/images/2008/2008-06-03_ma.jpg) I ask you, good folks of YouTube..how in the HELL did this abomination become more popular then a cute little hamster guy with a cape and a helmet resembling the roof of the most famous temple in Nara?!

I think they need to rethink the image of this... mascot, I would think small kids would have some kind of nightmare it if they saw it..., but then again that is my opinion! :)
