Ted Neely....what a performer! A Powerful Beautiful Performer and one of the best of our time without a doubt. In my opinion, and many worldwide, there is no other actor/singer that has or can portray Jesus Christ as magnificently and powerfully and full of spirit as Ted Neely does. A young man when he first played the role of Jesus Christ in the film Jesus Christ Superstar, now a gentleman in his sixties who still has the magnetism, all the power, the incredible talent, the voice as you will see here...WOW! This video was recorded during the beginning of what was called the 'Farewell tour' in 2006. Ted Neeley stars once again as Jesus Christ. In this performance he actually was performing ill which was affecting his voice but with all his Amazing talent and craft, he still puts forth an Amazing performance with this song. As seen on the video, cast members are in awe and feeling the power of his every emotion. Thanks Ted Neely for sharing with the world all these years your extraordinary Gift of Talent! ......Sharon
