Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep - Secret Boss: Vanitas's Lingering Spirit - Aqua 1080P

This is me fighting the secret boss (after you clear the final chapter, go to Keyblade Graveyard), Vanitas's Lingering Spirit.

Reward: Void Gear Keyblade

My difficulty is Proud Mode. I was level 37 for this fight.

Weapon: Stormfall (What I beat it with before I got Void Gear.)

Here's a short boss guide:

Aqua's strategy against this boss is largely the same as Ventus's, but she doesn't have Tornado. She does, however, have Seeker Mine, which is much easier to hit Vanitas with. The easiest way to damage Vanitas with her is just luring Vanitas into mines and dropping them on his head when he uses his shotlock.

Also just like Ventus, if you spam Square, you're pretty much invincible so get used to doing it.

@yunatidus28 When equipped you can hold up to "5 Potions", "4 Hi-Potions", and "3 Mega-Potions"(NOTE: you can equip them in your deck more than once) Also, the Brightcrest Keyblade is only available in the Final Episode save file, and "Yes!" you can use it in this fight, but only if you are playing the Final Episode File. Also, Brightcrest is longer, and has a higher critical hit rate where as the Stormfall gives a more balanced stat boost.

Can i use Brightcrest as a keyblade here? what is the advantage between stormfall and brightcrest? and also may i ask why not use hi-potion or mega? can i use that?

I'm keeping track of how many tries I've tried to beat vanitas lingering spirit. So far 17 tries. I suck!!!! TT^TT

This video shows THE most popular way of killing vanitas as aqua. You show that you only needed 2 commands to beat him which, in my book, gives you bonus points. But if you had more than 1 seeker mine, you probabky would have beaten him perfect. But keeping up with him was excelent except for the shotlock. But for showing us you could beat the crap out of him without swinging the keyblade makes you a badass and for that you are epic and I thank you.
