Playing this for our ensemble. Mixed grades, 6th to 8th. The 6th grader can play the 1st Violin part this fast o.o
-
They hardly can play it without smearing...it is too fast, at least for them.
-
all these Baroque "fans" comment on the pace. We have no idea how fast or slow these were suppose to be played . So take a chill pill and just enjoy it.
-
@ThePhilipjones235 that was in reference to the organ. Which is 100% true.
-
Well, Allegro is "fast" in Italian, and they are certainly doing it "fast"!
-
Recall that the original instuments were smaller, and so the pace was faster. I think this was very near the original intention of Bach.
-
They are **Really** going for it - you can't argue with this music... Just have to love it!
-
Awesome!
-
too fast baby!

@hommedeterreful you should hear musica antiqua koln's interpretation, LOL
My god. I guess "Allegro" is up for interpretation.

“It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself.” - Johann Sebastian Bach
