Have you ever really thought about what courage it took for men like those sailors, on both sides, knowing that there is no place to hide. Not that infantrymen have easy (I know -- 2years in combat). But those guys, like the men in the Civil War, marched (so to speak) straight into the mouth of hell, and NEVER flinched from their duty. Amazing -- even to me.

I loved Johnny Horton ever since I was a little boy and I love him just as much today he was my all time favorite singer, I just wish that I had met him back in the 50' & 60's he was a sinsation in my lifetime in everything that he did from playing basketball to fishing to his singing. I wished Johnny would have lived awhile longer in his lifetime, maybe he's in a mush better place among God and the angels of heaven. God Bless you Johnny Horton

Hell yea by a bunch of farmers! so good was your military? and lets be honest you still wouldnt stand a chance, more men, more tools of destruction, bigger faster strong airforce, the meanest baddest marines ever and the worlds largest Navy, which in fact is bigger then the next 16 navys combined, and the most brilliant field tacticians available, you wouldn't last a year against the US, but God I hope it never happens i have blood in the UK

@imanidol yea and you have had help in the past 100 years to keep your island safe. and as for the greedy babies you guys over there arent any better, we was being taxed on everything, ie, tea tax, stamp tax, etc etc. stuff that was not being taxed over there. and we had no say in how we ran our local governments. so was it treason? yes. was it warranted? yes.
