Aarfeld Con: Leon Russell recorded A Song For You there, as well as his version of Dylan's Masters of War, sung to the tune of the Star Spangled Banner. He also recoreded over at Gold Star Studio (which I believe is now the mini-mart shown in the video) and was a session musician at both studios before embarking on his own solo career in the late 60s. Quite a few historic recordings were laid down by many artists at both of these studios.

The Stones, after recording basic tracks at Olympic Studios (their main recording venue in the 6os), and at Stargroves (Mick's country house in England) and Nellcote (Keith's rented villa in the South of France) using their mobile recording unit, also did extensive overdubbing for Exile on Main Street at Sunset Sound, and some of the songs from the album: Rocks Off, Torn and Frayed, Loving Cup, Soul Survivor were recoreded entirely there. The final overall mix also was done there.
