Robert figures out that the monkeys are named after tyrants like Caesar, Alexander and Ghengis Khan. They are human proxies, conditioned to be strong for the rigors of space travel but become the wrong kind of strong. They become conquerors instead.
Monkey see Monkey do. That's the plot. It's about as profound as a birthday card.
Forget the human suit. That was a joke. Like your cognitive skills.

Robert Jones should be back to normal as a human being? Do you know did it? Do you know who locked Frank Enari in the electronics room when he turn off the tape recorder and even closed the window? Who is it?

@chr5210 A monkey locked Frank in the room. Whose head do you think is popping up in the window, Nancy Pelosi? The frozen guy they find at the beginning suffered the same fate. The monkeys then unlocked the door and later erase the tape the frozen guy made. The two men then spend the film arguing about how this could happen. It is about the psychological effects of fear and what happens when the tables are turned. The monkeys were fed up with diet coke and bananas.
These things can happen.

@chr5210 Robert was a monkey hiding in a human suit. Frank shoots Robert but doesn't hurt the monkey who unzips the suit and locks Frank in the freezing room. Frank goes through the window and climbs through the same flap Robert went through earlier when he fell in the water. Then Frank beats the monkey to death.
It's a family show.
