Brutal Legend Multiplayer 04: Drowning Doom vs Tainted Coil Part 2

This a video showing off a Brutal Legend multiplayer match, which consists of epic "stage battles" where opponents lead armies against their enemies to ultimately destroy the opponent's stage. These stage battles have been getting a lot of flak from the press; hopefully these multiplayer videos give some insight into what Brutal Legend really plays like, and you can judge for yourself whether you like it or not.

Well, I don't know about this one. Again, I am not 1337 at this game and you can see me suck a lot. The Tainted Coil guy was pretty good at kicking my ass mono-a-mono, I countered that by using the all-important double teams--that was rather effective! He probably should of tried killing my units instead of killing me, and he also never stayed with his army (bad idea).

So yeah, took the second side geyser (resource node), built the more powerful units I had, and watched my Ratguts annihilate my opponents infantry...and my opponent. By the time he amassed his army I had much better units, especially the Treeback (the giant tree thing), which decimated his army. I could just keep building units, so I just went to his stage and brought the smack-down! He really didn't stand a chance when he lost the fan geysers.

I know I'm not that great, but this video goes to show that if you double-team properly and pick your fights you can win the day. Also, units that straight-counter the enemy are great for winning.

I notice you never go for basic infantry (headbangers/gravediggers). I always found that they were best for freeing up geysers early

I'm noob at Ironheade so I can't speak for any good strategy there, but for Drowning Doom I find Gravediggers to be too vulnerable to getting struck down by enemy avatars. Frightwigs are much more durable!

Question: is a pack of reapers a good strat? or is a mix of ratguts and broods better?

I like the mix of Ratguts and Broods more than a mass of Reapers. But really my favorites are Brides/Organists/Dirigibles before anything else.

I haven't been playing much recently, but hopefully I can get some vids soon :D

Baron spam?broods? Also love the gloom solo It's my fav in the entire game I love ophelia's solos more than anyone else also gravediggers are good you just need alot of them and a pack of reapers are the best anti infantry group in the game cus of the fear aura that's jumbo sized

It makes a fake squad of units or unit that you choose it's really good to use it to make a fake squad of units to attack the enemy stage or booth or attack the front of a army and you flank the back

True, gravediggers are the weakest infantry in terms of hit points. I just find that they're good for taking out leaches quickly at the beginning (frightwigs don't have great attack power)
