yeah, there are no "L"'s in japanese so they oonly pronounce it that way

"Retasu" is just pronunciation of Lettuce ;-) so her name is written Lettuce (in roman alphabet), but pronounced "Retasu" they always pronounce l like r and they usually add vowel (a, o, u,...) at the end. For example they say "Minto" instead of Mint. :-)

Okay, just so you know, this was cute. I hate this anime. Why watch then, you ask? Because I had to, my mind made me. I love the song. When I was in eighth grade, I had a crush on some guy named Ian. Well, I turn on the TV at like 7 AM and see this anime girl with green hair, claiming her name is Bridget, which is my name. And of course, in that episode, she fell in love and was rejected by a guy named Ian. Amazing, huh? I hate this anime...
