go to the gateway website and download the available drivers for your system. if this doesnt work, go to the intel website and download the latest graphics driver for the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950. i should tell you that this graphics card only supports directx 9!!!

you probably have a corrupt drive or corrupt boot files. get a boot disc (either ultimate boot cd or hirens) and set the computer to boot from the cd drive. then insert the disc before boot and boot to the disc. run some of the hard drive diagnostics tools on it an it will tell you if u have a broken drive. if your drive seems fine after this, your boot files are corrupt and you should run your recovery disc if u have one.

I desperately need help. When I run DirectX Diagnostic and go to the Display tab it says I'm using the generic video card in the computer, and I need to install the latest drivers. I have a Gateway MX6957 but I can't download any god damn video drivers for it. I've tried everything, driver update programs, Gateway Download assistant (Which I can't get to work) and I'm still where I started. PLEASE HELP!
