Allegro - Final Storyreel (with top and tail credits)

TEAR THIS TO PIECES.. PLEASE!!! I'd welcome anyone's opinion on what they think could be improved upon, taken out, put in or whatever before I continue production on this project in earnest!!

Animated film about Mozart's cat. This is the finished storyreel / Animatic for my graduate film. Film to be finished by May 2009..

Wide range of influences used in the conceptualisation of this film including:

Disney: Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pocahontas, Emperor's new groove, Aladdin & Pinnochio... Mainly background styles pallates and multiplane opening pans...

Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, Buster Keaton, Laurel & Hardy, Marx brothers, Belleville Rendez-vous, French student animation... Humour and gags as well as design and story...

cheers nick, your comment made me realise that the music should have its own narrative alongside the visuals as opposed to being a mish-mash of classical music it would definately have a positive effect on the finished product.. cheers!

whoa, awesome top and tail credits old bean.. puts a really nice box around the film, which is looking far more possible and just as entertaining as the previous iteration.

Cant think of much to add, maybe have him fail to play a peice he's writing at the start, only to have the cat come from the window and land on the right keys to finish the peice? if ur lookin for a bit more pay off that is..

Looks cool Shaun! I think you should show the cat's face (reaction) a bit longer before he gets swung around, it only flashes up quickly at the mo. And the same for when the horse and carraige hits the wall. I didn't see what happened there the first time I watched it. It wud be cool aswel at the end if the cat staggered in, sorta drunkenly, and just plops down on the floor. awesome XD
