As a French living in Taiwan and having visited Korea, I will try:

-People (much nicer)

-Happy Life

-Lack of arrogance

-Girls

-Open-Mindedness

It really is the people that make the most difference between Taiwan and Korea. Taiwanese are just lovely.

Koreans are the only bunch I could just not manage to make friends with while living abroad in the past 8 years.

I do in fact have one Korean friend. But he's been living abroad most of his life, and even he really doesn't like living in Korea.

Scooter motorists actually PAY ATTENTION to and WATCH OUT FOR the oncoming traffic, unlike those in the US.... To me, as a person who has driven in both the US and Taiwan, I would say I pay wayyy less attention to motorcycles/ mopeds in Taiwan than in the US

Does not mean to disagree with you. However, this traffic is nothing comparing traffic in Vietnam. Trust me. I only saw two traffic lights in Hanoi for five days I was in the area and the interactions have traffic lights are most dangerous places because no one follows the lights.

I'm a high school student in Taipei

everyday I go to school it's like that

I saw even more.

So I don't drive car or ride scooter

The MRT is the best choice
