AMS Performance broke the 9 second barrier for the first time in the Nissan GT-R. Using our SR850 Package we were able to not only become the quickest and fastest GT-R in the world but do it all with a full weight street car! Watch here to see our record setting 9 second passes!

@adamdude15 What Alfa or Lancia could ever run 8 or 9 second quarters?
The ONLY Lancias that were ever worth a damn was the Stratos, the 037 Stradale and the Delta HF Integrale, and even then, only the Rally versions.
Modern Alfa's suck ass, they're little town-beaters with 1.x liter engines and no power, old Alfa's suck even more ass, they suck so bad that the only people that like them are the morons on Top Gear....

Yes, it's fast, yes it's good value. But no soul or character. Give me an old alfa or lancia over this any day.

@biglarfspeed6 that and i think mopar or hellion 1 of the other tuning companies released a GTR with no spoiler and its black but it does 1/4 in 7.94 on the 1 run thats what lead me to this video because i saw this vid then a few later saw that monster...

@biglarfspeed6 actually GTR is correct because the GTRs of previous years have all come under the Skyline series which has now shifted over to Infinity. So GTR is correct. It's the other videos that should have "Skyline GTR" on their titles.

Title should be "World's first 9 second R35 GTR," GTRs have been running under 9 seconds for decades.

@biglarfspeed6 Way to overanalyze. I think you and everyone else knows what they mean. Typically, the older GT-R's were referred to as 'Skylines' and the badass ones had a 'GT-R' badge on the back. Now, Nissan does not call this a Skyline, the model name is 'GT-R'. Never before has there been a Nissan 'GT-R' model other than this generation/chassis.
