I wonder how many women have protruding labia? I've read different statements, ranging from two thirds to 97%. If it really is around that, porn is a totally false representation of the general population of women. Society makes it seem like the norm is to have small labia. I even saw a TV show very recently, which had people seeing REAL doctors for so-called "embarrassing illnesses", in which a FEMALE doctor instantly suggest surgery to other women for their labia! Now that made me cross.

Hi neeche5150. Thanks for your question. I do not think I have any preference. I had a boyfriend who has a pretty long foreskin but I still love him for the way he is. For me, hygiene is more important. Even that guy think tht just becoz he has a circumcised penis, doesn't mean he is clean. Coz I had another boyfriend who is circumsized but I do not find he is hygiene. I think I won't worry about it so long it is functionable and hygiene. Thanks!

I agreed with Betty that no vulva is ugly. We hve been conned into believing wht is called 'normal' or acceptable. It takes a certain kind of strength like her to claim your vulva & works towards self-love instead of conforming to the society's definition of beauty. I feel that this two women are beautiful in their views & beliefs, without being conformed the pressures of wht so-called 'norm' I admire their spirits and strengths. Thanks!

my inner lips are diff lengths as well. when i exercise, sometimes they give me discomfort since the longest one gets in the way.

The most aesthetically pleasing labia IMO has very plump outer lips (labia majora) with petite symmetrical labia minora (not rough jagged asymmetrical roast beef brown) tucked between the labia majora. the labia can't be fully seen unless the labia majora is spread open or legs are spread.

I don't like discoloration, I prefer the outer lips to be the same color as the rest of the body, and the labia minora is be a light shade of pink. The clitoral hood must be petite as well.

well, I have never heard that theory before, but I think ultimately it comes down to the fact that only showing one type of vulva as ideal is a huge problem.

I read that the imbalance in porn is due to laws that rates the "strength" of porn & therefore the age restricition placed on it. It's considered more softcore if it doesn't show the inner lips of a woman, so they got around this by using women who don't really have them.

That's now caught on as our cultural idea of the most attractive kind of vulva, so even when they aren't trying to avoid a higher age restriction, they still use models like this ubiquitously.
