Ms. Ellie tells them both what she thinks of them.
Powerful words I think, that apply to most of the series.

from episode - The New Mrs. Ewing.

  • Man...Jim Davis was a terrible actor.

  • @ericmaine He did have a strong but limited acting range.

Although during this scene and until his death, he was in severe pain from a head tumor and on medication so he wasn't always able to express himself fully.

  • ok I have to change this. Looking back Ray's wife was the one most worthwhile, she married him when she thought he was just a ranch hand. Pam would be a second. the worst wore hypocrites and opportunists.

  • @vlunney very true, the show was full of them. Even Sue Ellen in the beginning a couple of times.

  • first off: remember she loved digger barnes and married jock so he would buy the ranch and keep it from going under. second: it never sickened her enough to to get a divorce probably because a settlement would be less money not to mention she'd lose a lot of her social position. the ONLY worthwhile woman in this series was Pam who probably would have married Bobby even if he was just a guy who worked the field.

  • @vlunney Interesting view.

  • @AlbieGray Larry Hagman is or was a democrat and was very outspoken about the Vietnam War during the 60's. You look at his characters in Dallas and IDOJ, and both characters in my opinion come across as being republican in both shows. Jack Nicholson also introduced Larry to marijuana in attempt to limit his drinking which eventually led to his scirosis of the liver in the 90's . While Larry directed SON OF BLOB in 1972, cast members claim he was high on pot the whole time.

  • One person jock let get him straight.

  • dam !! she told them and in time , it TOLD !!!

  • @bette1908 Knowing Fox, that would be what they would do. :) I didn't know that Larry Hagman had no liking for Bush. I can check into that. :)

  • @AlbieGray LoL. They would deny it even happened. And speaking of Bush, Larry Hagman is no fan of his. He gave an interview about him a few years ago. You can probably google it.

  • @bette1908 Definitely not on Fox. They wouldn't allow it.

  • @AlbieGray It would be on every news channel. Well...maybe not FOX

  • @bette1908 It would also be FABOO!
