"New Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPod nanos will reportedly be priced inline with current nano-models, and will not replace iPod shuffles, reports AppleInsider.com. Apple is scheduled to introduce new products this Wednesday at its ""special event,"" and the new nanos are expected to have a 1.7 inch display with similar dimensions as the second-generation clip-on iPod shuffle. Sources told AppleInsider that new nanos will cost about the same price as the current nanos; current 8GB nanos are $149 and 16GBs are $179. Sources added that though the sixth-generation nanos will likely be unveiled at the event, they will not hit tech shelves till later.
