Cheesy trance improv with tb-303 like sound on Alesis Micron

Hey, here is part of an improv I did with some interesting sounds. The main attraction here is the tb-303 sounding bass, which sounds OK IMO. Cheesy, but very fun to play.. All done with the little red box

@gunsonair Dont be jealous, it did glitch very often. I had to count on luck. Now my Ion has some serious problems as well

what is the lead voice? that sound is amazing! it sounds like you have four to the floor, what other settings did you choose in your setup?

@gonesurfin27 Hey, youre right about the beat, slightly modified four to the floor. The rest is totally custom though. The arpeggio is an attempt at a supersaw, the bass is again an attempt at a tb-303 style sound.

can you tell me how to do that sound on the micron? i cant seem to find anything that sustains long enough for 'trance' sound! please let me know, i love the alesis, but i cant seem to figure out its settings

I have tried everything to get the sound you get at :35, I am going to need step by step directions if you don't mind! totaaally lost microns user here! your sound is beautiful and i wish to sound good too!

@gonesurfin27 I programmed a nice trance synth with 3 tri/saw oscillators at -100% waveshape, with one oscillator down an octave, one up an octave, and one at 0 octaves, each at around 80% in the mixer. Put the Usn to 2 voices/note and detune at around 10 cents. Then put the Env1 release to about 500 ms, and then put a Chorus and Delay mono, at around 75% wet/25% dry. Tell me how that sounds. I'd start off with the Default patch under Sfx and go from there. Make sure you save to another patch.
