  • 3:25 - 5:50 is some of the most beautiful music ever. It was used in the movie "Amadeus."

  • BRAVISSIMO!!! Mozart was a true musical genius and this opera proves it beyond a doubt!!

  • my beloved opera in favourite version :)

  • @whatthecello42

When I listen to the music the countess sang,

    I am so touched.

I was thinking that this is the opera Mozart's want,

which performers are not just screaming and rolling their eyes .

  • @TheVaughan5 Do you mean the final part of the finale, from the allegro assai? We're doing a production of this right now and really Levine isn't taking it THAT much faster than what it's supposed to be. A tad, but hardly.

  • Shame Levine rushes the finale and robs the music of it's greatness. Karl Bohm was so much better when I heard him conduct Figaro some years ago. Great cast.

  • @1AdrianR Perfeclty agree. The most perfect and on of the three greatest ever, with Don Giovanni and Tristan.

  • @whatthecello42 May be you're quite right ... But I can't help feeling that, all in all, it's hard to be the 'Don'!

  • Brava , Renee !

  • The scene where he asks for forgiveness and she gives it is my favorate of all opera scenes EVER. It gives me chills. The count is a good guy after all, LOL.

  • 5:52! lucky count to kiss Fleming....
