@TheVaughan5 Do you mean the final part of the finale, from the allegro assai? We're doing a production of this right now and really Levine isn't taking it THAT much faster than what it's supposed to be. A tad, but hardly.

Shame Levine rushes the finale and robs the music of it's greatness. Karl Bohm was so much better when I heard him conduct Figaro some years ago. Great cast.

The scene where he asks for forgiveness and she gives it is my favorate of all opera scenes EVER. It gives me chills.  The count is a good guy after all, LOL.
