The Yushin SVR-B50 full servo take-out robot, designed for vertical injection molding machines, is shown here performing an insert molding sequence on a JSW vertical molding machine. The SVR robot first grips a blank matrix from the supply station and waits at the home position. When the mold opens the SVR enters the mold area, picks the over molded part, readjusts the end of arm tooling and inserts the next blank matrix to be over molded. After exiting the mold, the robot releases the part onto a conveyor and the cycle starts over. Take a close look and you will also notice a Yushin V-HOP, our vertical machine sprue removal robot, removing the runner from the upper half of the mold.
The SVR-B50 robot has a telescoping arm that is high-speed and constructed with extra rigidity, making it ideal for high-cycle, high-precision molding or insert molding. The design of the arm allows entry into the narrowest of mold openings. The SVR-B50 can also be used as a high-speed runner extraction robot. A color touch screen controller eases operation and programming. The SVR is designed to complement vertical injection molding machines sized up to 150 tons.
