TODAY IS TODAY - NO MORE FREE RIDES - National Recess Rally in New Haven Aug. 22

At noon all across America, thousands of protesters gathered at their Congressmen's offices in every state. The protest was an organized event.

At 59 Elm Street in New Haven, just around the corner from Yale University, about 50 educated, motivated and activated citizens met to make sure their concerns were heard. That address is where Representative Rosa DeLauro, D-District 3, maintains her main office.

For just over one hour, the very respectful "mob" shared stories, compared signs and exchanged conversations with any passerby who cared to listen. Channel 8, whose offices are just across the street, were briefly on the scene.
