I think your comments highlight the crux of the controversy. Should propaganda trump truth when the government is telling the family of a soldier, along with the rest of the nation, how and why a soldier was killed? Your comment seems to indicate a willingness to have your government lie to you about friendly fire. I could say the same for any dictatorship; Of course the dictator wants things to be seen in the best possible light. I'd rather live where truth trumps convenience.
