Football loving nation Ghana is in a state of jamboree as it became the first African country to lift the Under-20 World Cup. The youngsters of Ghana beat football giants Brazil in a dramatic 4-3
penalty shoot-out last Friday in Cairo, Egypt.

The entire nation was electrified and charged with drumming and dancing on the streets. The national youth team returned to Ghana over the weekend and were welcomed at the airport by a mammoth crowd led by Vice President John Mahama.

They went on a float on the principal streets of Accra and interacted with members of the public before presenting the cup to President Atta-Mills at the seat of Government.

  • @Lapiro10 Oops, wrong, I thought you mean the song at 0:21.

  • @Lapiro10 I think the song is called "O seye Ghana." I' Togolese and I remember hearing the song on Ghana national TV when I was a kid... about 10 years or so ago. I just tried finding it on Google and YouTube and could! I know the tune just not the exact words since I don't speak the language. Sorry! Hope this tad bit helps.

  • lets get an african team to win in 2010 then =D , if England don't ofcourse.
