I am a yoga teacher and this is fantastic! This is fast for beginners not to have a teacher right there to guide but once you start understanding the sequence (probably 2nd time around you do it), this is very beneficial class.
This is the first class where you dont need to be able to do power handstands etc that can be hard to modify. Most people can do these asanas, you may just have to hold the planks a little less or knees down for chatarunga!

What makes you think a video called "Power Yoga" with the words, "rigorous" and "cardiovascular" in the description would be trying to appeal to people who haven't done much yoga? Bryan's flow here is amazing and actually much slower than many of the Power Yoga practices taught around the world. Those searching for a less rigorous practice would do well to check out Bryan's Hatha Yoga class. - Rob

@1albuseverus Yes, this will help you lose weight. It looks easy but it really is a good strength and cardio workout. Although, part of losing weight is also the diet. I'm not telling you to be a vegetarian, but TRY to eat more veggies and control your portions.

i like the fact we can hear you breathing clearly.. as i am a beginner and often get confused if I should be breathing in or out. I know the teacher tells you, but it all goes so fast that I end up pretty much hyperventilating trying to keep up lol.. i guess it will all become second nature with practice.

Hi Brian! I happened upon your videos when I decided to deepen into a daily yoga practice at home. Your style of teaching is so soothing and unfussed, with just enough instruction to guide me into the flow. And the sequences are tough enough to keep me challenged, fit, and balanced. Fantastic! I love your workouts Bryan! Out of all the workouts that I briefly went through when trying to find something suitable on Utube, your vids are the best. Especially the ten minute ab workout, fab! And I am really starting to see some positive changes as I build up to running a half marathon in a few months for my core and for overall well being. You rock!!
