I think they added bootcamp because some people need windows. This might be the case for students who go to schools that are lmited to windows and also gamers who want to play games that are available only for windows. By adding bootcamp it basically takes away all of macs flaws of not bein able to run some windows products.

hey i have a macbook pro and i want to install windows xp on it like you show in your video but how did u do it did u download something from a web site or did u have to buy a disc i rlly want to download it for the same reason shinjitodd wanted to instal to play games if you could tell me how to get windows xp on my macbook it would be very appreciated

you need os x 10.5.8 or higher to run bootcamp wow you have os x 1.5 you need to upgrade big time but i don't know if you already did or not if you did not i would recommend you do upgrade to snow leopard so you can run boot camp and run windows on you mac ok

well im not a 100% but i beleive you need leopard or snow leopard to use boot camp

Of course we cant have osx on pc. Its the mighty Os LOOOL. No but seriously, it's better this way. PC's weren't build for leopard anyways

wow i need help, i try to open boot camp assistant and it says it won't work on Os X 1.5 so does this mean I need to upgrade to leopard in order to use bootcamp?!?
any help would be much appreciated.

i have a question im thinking on installing xp on my mac, basically to play games, such as AoE3 and maybe CoD4
but my question is...
AFTER i installed xp with bootcamp do i need to get those service packs in order to play those games?

service pack 2? shouldn't your copy of windows be XP SP2? and if not, it'll automatically update.
