u hear people talk about it is because they love the music. but about 95% the new dudes are just ass I don't think anyone is just hating because it's new vs old.

they all rap about the exact same thing. It's either about sum new gay ass dance or thy talking about their swagg . there's zero substance in the lyrics, except for a few artists.

There's a reason why hip-hop is nowhere near as popular as it used to be

@PlayboiX122 there is mad socially conscious rappers out this day in age there is a whole list of great rappers that I could name that would exclude just about everyone on the radio, and being a socially conscious isnt what rap is all about at some point of time your topics should vary. big was the best rapper ever and he talked about the same stuff that everyone else did he just did it better.

@toobieeee Im not saying that all the rappers are like that. Im saying that the majority of em are & Im not saying they have to be common or Mos Def. All im saying is try to have some sort of message in some of the songs.

And there is lot more than just that that i don't like about the new generation rappers i just don't feel like typing up and getting into all that. Ex: a lot of these niggas can't even rap. They have AWFUL lyrical skills Some of them can't even flow on a beat correctly
