  • this is just a 20 snare strand isn't it? It's not a 42 snare strand?

  • @iraniandrummer97 Correct this drum has the 20 strand snares.

  • @DrumCenterNH Also, what does lower, medium and higher tuning mean? Is that the tuning of the heads or the wires?

  • @iraniandrummer97 The low, medium and high refers to the tuning of the heads.

  • These videos are a Godsend! I can remember looking at drum catalogs as far back as 1977. It was frustrating trying to imagine what drums and cymbals sounded like. These video demos are the absolute next best thing to trying them in person, which isn't always an option. It's far better than any written review could possibly be!

  • Thanks, man. This was our hope in creating these videos. If you keep watching them, we'll keep making them!

  • @DrumCenterNH ok, thought so! Is there any chance you could do a video with the lm402 and use a 42 strand snare wire? Also, is there any chance you could also compare it with the 20 strand?

  • @eturkreenz This video was done before they started put them on.

  • Hi. I noticed the drum used in the video is missing the requisite gaskets under the lugs. Is this something Drum Center did, or is the drum an earlier model? Thanks!

  • @DrummerStuffable lucky man..... :)
