Another Day As A Jonas Chapter 22

I put my face in my pillow to let the tears fall. I felt horrible, and I hated it. During my crying session I heard a knock on my door, great just what I needed.
"Go away Michelle!" I yelled but the knocking began again, then the door opened. "What do you not get about the phrase 'go away'?" I asked, my face still on my pillow. I should really invest in locks or a bodyguard to guard my door when I'm in here. I heard two feet shuffling to my bed and then someone sat down. "Hey Janey." Ugh, it was Joe why was he always like this. Why couldnt he be like a normal brother and leave me alone and only would talk to me to be mean? Not always caring about my feelings.
"What." I said coldly, turning to face the wall opposite of where Joe was sitting.
"You shouldn't be sad, Nick didnt mean to be such a loser." Joe told me rubbing my back, trying to comfort me.
"Ha! That's a riot! He hates me and Kevin hates me and I'm pretty sure Frankie hates me for one thing or another." I said sourly, only looking at the negatives. "You know that's not true." I sat up and started laughing hard as if I heard the funniest joke ever.
"Ha ha ha you should really be a comdedian because that was hilarous!" I laughed then Joe's eyes turned into a glare.
"You know there's an animal downstairs." Joe told me he voice was still sweet, he could never be mad at me unlike my other brothers who were like PMSing 24/7. "I bet it's a cat so Nick and Kevin watch me die of mucus overload in my body." I crossed my arms.


"You know you can be such a pessimistic sometimes. And no it's not a cat mom and dad wouldnt allow that...ever. It's actually a dog a present for Nick. And I already know what you're going to say...." Joe began doing a impression of me. "....Nick gets a dog! All I want is a fish but no one will give me one! Everyone hates me!" He flung his arms in the air to be dramatic. A smile soon crept on my face.
"I do not sound like that." I tried to compose myself but I couldnt but let a small giggle out, Joe began to laugh with me and right there I knew we were sharing a brother sister moment. "But seriously I have no idea why Kevin hates me. I mean he just glares at me!" I said flinging my arms up reacting what Joe did.
"When did he start doing it?" Joe asked actually caring about me unlike....others.
"Like last week after the party." I replied, then it hit me. The party, the drinking, my drinking...then me being a bit tispy, the pleading not to drink. Oh my god Kevin knew I drank and he was punishing me. Wow, if I think about it now it's pretty obvious. Okay one mystery solve...I'm like Nancy Drew! I sighed and smiled at Joe.
"What?"
"Youre a genius!" I smiled and began hugging which I swear I heard him saying 'Duh.' sounds like Joe to me.


The next day when I woke up, I changed my clothes, brushed my hair and teeth then I walked downstairs. To my surprise Joe was right there was a dog, golden retriever to be exact it was honestly the cutest puppy I have ever seen. The puppy was lying on his back with his head tilt to look at me, I couldnt but let my girl instincts get to me. I had to say it.
"Oh my gosh he's so cute!" I ran and knelt down to pet the dog. "Aw! You're so adorable!" I finished as I stroked the dog's fur. "He's names Elvis." I looked up to see Joe which wasnt a surprise, he was in fact the only brother talking to me. "Isnt he so cute and adorable and such a cutie!' I gushed.
"You're such a girl." Joe said rolling his eyes trying to be 'manly'. I stood up and brushed the fur off my shirt.
"So where are the others?" I aksed. "Nick is at Jesal's house..." Who goes to someone elses house when you just got a puupy, and a cute one too! What a moron. "...and Kevin said he had to think about stuff so he's out and about somewhere." Joe finished walking to the kitchen. "You hungry? You havent ate in like 18 hours." He asked opening a bag of chips.
"Sure..." I repiled following.
"I wonder what Kevin had to think about?
