I actually came to love the new scoring system a bit. I watched the 2003 Worlds and you're right. Scores were so low in the early 2000's. I love the A score and how the difficulty backs you up.

The new scoring system is much better. There is a difficulty score to back you up if you fall or mess up. Even if there still was the old scoring system nobody would get tens such as in the 90's when they used it, not only was it impossible to get a ten but if you fell you were screwed.

Ok, the socring system sucks now. I miss the 10. Plus, there have been ties for medals. 4 gymnasts tied for a medal once.
