@stringchild1 simply vinyl made a beautiful pressing of OPEL.there are still a few floating around,i plan on trying to get one of those myself.yeah man,i have yet to hear a SYD song that i didn't like.

man i love SYD,just finished reading crazy diamond.it was great.amazing he got the backwards guitar effects right for dominoes on the first take! mad genious.the book tells the significance of the plum, the orange and the match box on that cover,during one of his early acid trips with the guys he sat in a corner all day with these 3 things believing they were a miniature universe.until someone came by and ate the plum and shocked him out of it!

@dimebagdave77 Yes it's way cool. I also have that book. I also have The Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett Story DVD. I need to track down and get a copy of Opel on vinyl. I have it, Madcap, and The Best of Syd Barrett (Wouldn't You Miss Me) on CD. Opel is probably my favorite. That song Dolly Rocker is so cool. Syd's a definite later in life influence on me. Sad to hear when he passed not too long ago.
