I have just bought the same case as this but for an sg , the fit is really bad ,I mean neck breaker and the handle had cracks on both hinges the plastic is really weak lots of complaints about this , there customer service thow is great they have offered a new handle, but the fit problem is a deal breaker , I sent it back for the gator deluxe instead

I've had a SKB case for years and it has held up very well. The only thing you have to be careful about is the metal edge as you are placing the guitar in the case- it is not padded at all (on my model at least) so you risk scratching your guitar.

The handle on the SKB Les Paul case sucks, but you could land the space shuttle on them. I took one on a round trip to Florida last year, 3 different planes each way and it looked like they used my guitar case for football practice, but no serious damage and the guitar wasn't even out of tune.

Just got this case today with a wine red epiphone les Paul traditional pro. From guitar center and it is awesome!!!

Hey, I am thinking of getting this case for my Les Paul. At a local music store, they sell it for $127. They told its the best case you can get for the money. I read some reviews elsewhere, and some has complaint about handle being weak and get broken easy. But it is supposed to be really strong case good for air flight travel. hmmmm what to do? I am comparing to Ephiphone brand hard shell case. ($79).
