Chapter 20

Justy: Is it true?
Nick: Is what true?
Justy: When you said you don't want to lose the one you love? You love me?
Nick: Justy I-. Of course I do. I have never met anyone who can make me so happy. And to like me for me and not because I'm a celebrity.
Nick walks over to Justy and pulls her into a long hug. Their all standing there for a few minutes and its silent. Soon, Kevin and Swati comes over, hand-in-hand, laughing, breaking the silence. Nick and Justy pull away, and everyone looks over at Kaelyn and Joe. Both silent and haven't talked to one another since the incident.
Kaelyn, Joe... Can I talk to you? Privately?
Joe: Sure...
Kaleyn takes Joe's hand and they go in Kaelyn's room. Everyone else decides to go get something to eat and hang out.
*With Kaelyn and Joe*
Kaelyn: Joe... (trying not to cry)
Joe: Shh.
Joe walks up to her and wraps his arms around her waist. She let him. She missed his arma around her. He gently kissed her lips and made his way to her neck. He started kissing her neck until...
Kaelyn: (pulls away) Joe... please, don't. Not yet.
Joe: Why?
Kaelyn: I still don't know exactly what happened with you and Mariah. When I saw you kissing her. I thought you liked her more than me. Plus it happened to me before and-
Joe: Kae, I know. And I'm sorry that happened, but you have to believe me. I didn't kiss her Kae, I never thought about kissing either because...
Kaelyn: Because what?
Joe: Because... I love you.
Kaelyn: (silent)

*With everyone else*
Swati: Me and Justy will go grab us all some food. Anything in particular you guys want?
Kevin: Not really, surprise me.
Swati: Ok. (smiling and gives him a quick kiss)
Justy: What about you Nick?
Nick: Uhh... no. That's alright, I'm not hungry.
Justy: Ok...
(they leave)
Kevin: You ok?
Nick: Yeah it's just that... me and Justy. I don't know if were done fighting or what.
Kevin: Oh. Well I hope so. I mean Joe and Kaelyn are already fighting. I hope they worked things out.
Nick: Yeah, me too. I mean, that's the only reason me and Justy got in a fight. Ughh I hate this.
Kevin: Don't worry Nick, you won't lose Justy.
Nick: (looks upset) I hope not.
(Kevin's phone starts ringing)
Kevin: (answers it) Hello?
???: Kevin, it's Michelle. Can we maybe, meet up sometime today and you know, catch up?
Kevin: Uhh... I don't know. I don't know what the others have planned for today.
Michelle: Others?
Kevin: Yeah. My brothers and their girlfriends.
Michelle: Oh. Well... since you don't have a girlfriend, does that mean we can?
Kevin: Uhh... well...
Michelle: Please Kevy? (pouting voice)
Kevin: *sighs* Well... how about you meet us at the mall in about 2 hours, and I'll get everyone to go. Then we can all hang out.
Michelle: Ok, See ya then Kevy, love you.
Kevin: Yeah... bye.
(they hung up)
Nick: Who was that?
Kevin: Oh, uhh.. no one.
Nick: Ok then.
The girls come back and everyone eats. Except for Nick cause he wasn't hungry. Kevin was thinking of a way to ask them to go to the mall with him.
Kevin: Hey. You guys have any plans later?
Swati: Nope.
Jusy: None.
Nick: No why?
Kevin: I was wondering if you guys would like to come to the mall with me. I want to go buy a new... scarf.
Swati: Sure. Of course I will. (smiling at him)
Kevin: Great. (smiling at her)
Justy: Duhh. You know I can't pass up the mall.
(Everyone laughs)
Kevin: Nick? You wanna come?
(Justy looks at him. But not in a mean way. He can tell the look on her face says she wants him to go.)
Nick: Sure. Why not?
Kevin: Alright then, cool. So we'll all meet back here in an hour.
Everyone: Ok.

*With Kaelyn and Joe*
She didn't know how to react to that. She was so shocked, she couldn't even say it back. And she did love him too. When Joe seen the shocked look on her face, he thought she didn't love him back. It was an awkward silence for a couple minutes.
Kaelyn: Joe... I -
Joe: It's ok. I understand. You don't love me back. (looked down) I knew I should't have said it yet.
Kaelyn: No, Joe -
Joe: I gotta go.
Kaelyn: But...
(Joe left)
Kaelyn: I love you too...
