  • @dkornsb I taught myself, my Mom taught me how to play computer games and I just took that knowledge and kept building. At 7 I learned C, at 8 I learned Objective-C, at 9 I learned HTML, at 10 I learned C++ and C#, at 11 I learned PHP and MySQL, and now at 12 years old I'm teaching myself RoR. I also have retained everything about it.

  • @dkornsb I always had a fascination for computers, everything about them, the complexity; everything! I'm probably better than him anyway what he is doing is not hard nor special if you know anything about programming, database management. Heck, I know teenagers in Rails core, this is nothing but overrated drama, they make a simple IP ping seem like a mystical hacking megatron.

  • @GeminiSon Really? that's really good. i'm not saying this in a skeptical way but im just curious if you had a passion for computers since you were a baby like this kid? Or were you forced by your parents or someone around you?

  • @IbisRedibisNunquam You're right. That's a very good point. I guess what really impressed me was when he said that the first time he sat in front of a computer, he got the feeling that he can do anything with computers. ANYTHING!!! It made me wonder if he was a very advanced computer technician in another life, or another planet, or another dimension/density like 4th or 5th.
