Back in college at LSU, my friends and I saw a news story about some restaurant having a 14-pound burger. So we decided to try to beat it at my friends' apartment (Club 1305). They home made the dough, made a big ass hamburger patty, and bought a ton of condiments (pound of bacon, pound of cheese, an onion, picles, etc.). All told it weighed in right at 17 pounds, and was delicious.
