  • I can't speak for the person who posted this, it looks like the south side to me.

I first visited the boardwalk around '75 or '76. To a little kid like me, the Casino, Convention Hall, and Palace Amusements appeared like huge castles. At that time the Casino theatre still had it's roof intact and they had the huge chandaliers turned on inside.

I remember the coffee/snack shop on the north side. Can't remember what was on the south side.

  • You shot this vid from the south side? There was once a resturant. Been closed for ages is that building still there? Wish I remembered the name of it.

  • Yes, but alot of that footage was not used in the video.

Overall, about 90% of the video was from the Casino (alot of that in the rink/theatre) and 10% was from Palace Amusements.

  • Didn't he shoot a lot of that video over at Palace Amusments too?

  • Just the rink area, the walkway and carousel will remain standing.

  • the whole thing or just the rink area? i have not been there in ages

  • Same building where Bruce Springsteen shot the video for 'Tunnel of Love'.

  • Vaccaro!

  • Thats a shame. That venue had nice high ceilings for Intellabeams. Nice reverberation too! All memories now... :/

  • What company is doing the demolition
