Tom Hanks is obviously a talented actor. After this rant, I will not watch another film he is a part of either in front of the camera or behind it. It's sad to see such a talent trashing the great victories of this incredible nation. We've liberated and given aid to so many. We're trying to win the hearts and minds around the world and Hanks wants to turn us into the enemy. In my mind he doesnt exist anymore...

  • fucking liberals do you know how evil the Japanese empire was?

  • @metro2033fan Theres a lot of revisionist history going on in order to paint the Japanese as the innocent victims in ww2. Lets not forget that they planned attacks on the west coast with biological agents, namely bubonic plague and dengue fever. Nice group of fellows heh? And of course dropping the bombs saved millions of lives on both sides, a ground invasion would have cost 1.5 million allied deaths and probably 10 to 15 million on japans side. Terrible business it was..

  • This reporter... '' Tom Hanks is demonising a legitimate war against terror '' oh really? Even when the AMERICAN PRESIDENT himself said that the were no legitimate reasons for the invasion of Iraq ( in accordance to original proclemations ). So who's the '' jackass '' here? the reporter who is anything but objective or the actor who openly admtied a national flaw? I have NOTHING against the US at all. It's a great country but.. Americans..you're younge. Slow down, take a look at the big picture

  • @Atreadis First off, just want to say thanks for your service in Kabul, my hats off to you...

I'm not sure where you heard that GWB said there werent legitimate reasons to invade Iraq. This is not true, Dont believe everything you read in the European press when it comes to Iraq. Every cease fire agreement was broken from Iraq1, along with countless UN resolutions. Do you agree with the current action in Libya? Saddam was Gaddaffi times 1,000. We had every reason and right to go into Iraq...

  • @ConservativeTimes as for Libya. I'm nearly 80% positive that if the situation is not resolved with aerial bombing and deployment of missiles, it will become a full scale war. Gadaffi will either surrender in the next 2-3 weeks. Or there will be full out war with the second strongest military country in Africa. But overall, was it wrong to take the fight to Iraq? No. Was it wrong start it with missinformation that was only starting to come out one year ago? Absolutely.

  • @Atreadis Of course no one in the Bush admin. ever stated that the 911 hijackers came from Iraq. There is a big misconception that misinformation was used in the lead up to the war. Every intelligence agency around the world had the same information. We did remove 500 tons of uranium, about 30% pf which was yeloow cake. a fact that has gone unoticed in some circles. But no misinformation was use to justify Iraq.

Libya? No, I dont believe airpower alone will get rid of the mad dog...

  • @WavesOfTrolls And all this time I thought it was because Japan was ruled by a ruthless emperor hellbent on conquering sovereign territories through the pacific and China, lol. I guess pearl harbor was an inside just like 911 right?

  • @ConservativeTimes HAHA I KNOW ALL OF THIS MAN I STUDIED WW2 ALOT IN COLLEGE ;0 TY FOR THE SUPPORT!

  • Tom Hanks is just an actor, don't forget that.

  • O'Reilly is a douchebag. I respect Tom Hanks for not going on Fixed News.

  • @EeeScape I totally agree, O'Reilly couldn't really come up with a good argument.

  • @ZombieRedeemer

Those that had fathers in WWII idolize them. But his own father wont mention his nightmares and the atrocities of war. Those that don't serve, bring up their fathers. When you do serve, and then witness war, your view point changes greatly. Bill needs to experience that.

  • @Dkouts57 US does not borrow from everybody, yes, we do borrow a lot of money but if you were smart, you would know that the US gov't owes more money to it's citizens than it does to China. Countries like Britain, France and Italy owe us money, but their arrogance think that the US are full of dumb, fat assed, lazy people, when most of us aren't. They refuse to give us money that they owe us from WW1 & 2, which is part of the reason why we are in an economical crisis.
