There is an interview with an Japanese American soldier who was interogating a Japanese prisoner and the Japanese prisoner pushed a matchbox towards him and said they were building an Atomic Bomb. Several days later, the US dropped the bomb, the Japanese American soldier went to find him and tell him, the POW said, then the War is over now! He already knew the destructive capability, which very few did at that time! So I believe from this story that Japan had an Atomic Bomb!

The bit about the cyclotron destruction is true however; it was part of the (tiny) weapons project but it was used for non-atomic research by a separate team who used it's development as a pretext to avoid being drafted by the military. This is well documented.

This is absolute rubbish spread by conspiracy theorists. There was no bomb, no detonation. You couldn't hide something like that. If there had been a bomb, the radiation would have been detected. At the very least, the Japanese would have used it's existence to justify demands for terms more favorable than those demanded by Potsdam. Put in context, the British atomic weapons program of the 50s was also a failure and it was well funded. Even they couldn't make it work.

U tube( Hitler's last u-boat) video of the German sub carrying uranium when it surrendered to allies. Also excellent

Sure Japan had the know how to make relatively simple U-235 gun type weapon like our Little Boy and they did have a small project to do just that. However they like Germany just didn't have the resources to make it happen. Remember the SCALE of the Manhattan Project. However Japan came in as a distant third behind The Allied and Nazi efforts along that line. Then of course there is the fact that Japan never had a plane as big or capable as the B-29 to drop the things with.

@1138thz I doubt that Japan actually tested an atomic bomb, but everything else is plausible, even just from a common sense stand point. If it's confirmed that both the US and Germany knew about atomic power and were frantically building one, why is it impossible that Japan was as well? Let's not forget that Japan was one of the most advanced countries in the world at the time, technologically and militarily.
