I get so sick of people saying that the "twin peaks" theme is like the song "Lives wasted away" from the Silent Hill Shattered Memories OST. All i can say about that is Twin Peaks is like an 80s love song, and Live wasted away is more trippy sounding. So please people, listen to the songs before comparing.. Don't just say what your friend said.
Here is a REAL comparison....
"Medicine" by Time Baby 3
and
"Not Tomorrow" by Akira Yamaoka.
I thought this was a great comparison because you could swear the notes are almost exact. It has more than a wavie guitar sound to sound alike!!
