A fine example of the Technics SP10 MK II Direct Drive Turntable.
The Obsidian base is made of Lava Stone, It features the EPA Tonearm with titanium nitride construction and ruby bearings. Playing thru the Allnic Phono Stage... Very Nice!
Available on Ebay in a vinylcanuck Auction.

  • oops! I meant the Sony! At first glance I thought it was a Garrard 401. My Bad!

  • This is testament to the fact that a good direct drive table has the edge over many of the boutique belt drives, especially in pitch accuracy. Sweet sound! I'm sure that 401 sounds as lovely! Cheers!

  • Sweet! You've got the absolute best combination of Technics components happening there! This is one of those tables that there is no upgrade to go to (except for the MKIII, and these have gotten very scarce)

I'm using an SP15, (love it!) and am a long time Technics fanatic. Rarely do we see the SP10 MKII with the-top-of-the-top tonearm and base all together (drooling here). Great music selection too! Thanks for sharing!

  • So classy , love the Technics SP10 what a sound, used to use them with the Stanton 680EL ....

  • That's lovely!

  • whoa, that's a GOOD turntable! I'm Canadian too! subbed.

  • Oh very nice! Sp-10 mkII user here...
