A Brinks armored truck driver from Charlotte was killed on the job in Greensboro and the killer was caught on tape.

Brinks does not care about their employees. Come on now they give drivers an old piece of crap gun from the 70's for crying out loud. And the trucks carry millions of dollars? And we get paid shitty. They treat their workers like slaves. And thier benefits plans are a ripoff. I would never recommend working for Brinks unless your desperate

@jdelmpro lol u should see the company i work for dunbar its worse i bet u that start pay 10 dollars and guns from the 60s hahaha and the trucks i have no idea how d.o.t dosent do anything about it. and like 5 people get fired a week for bullshit ass policys like backing up with out a spotter or getting crashed in to by people. like if you hit some one from the back you get fired ok thats understandable but if some one hits you from the back or side you also get fired even if it isnt ur fault.

I just interviewed with brinks a few days ago, I heard nothing but positive things from former employees, until reading these comments. I am remaining hopeful that I get the job and am going to remain positive about this company, everything I heard from people I've actually met was more than positive.

I started working for Loomis Armored in 1985 and started at $5.63 hr

Later in years I worked for Tristate Armored for $9.75 hr.

And WE had to pay for our own bullet proof vests. I always carried my own gun. Would never trust reliability of company guns

I hear you all but face it, we all have to work. I love working at Brinks and if you play the game right you can make a descent paycheck. I understand that it's dangerous but if you go into it with the mindset that you have to whoop ass you'll do fine. Don't fuck w a brinks guard and mind your on business when you see us. @Titan9mm yea i work for dunbar and lot of people come from garda and say they pay higher there then us at 10 dollars. and give us like 60 stops and the and there are some routes with up to 80 stops and we depart AT 8am and are expected back at 5pm and if you get late they get mad. and they dont want you to speed so wtf are we supossed to do lol

Ive worked for ATsystems for some time now, its a honest job but yeah u should get paid more for what u do....starting pay is higher than any of the other companies, i know causer i checked, u get about $14start and tops of at about $21 after a couple years.. oh yeah ATsystems changed to that bullshi8t canadian company GARDA now..(horrible name) but yup come work for ATsystems......

jrg5066 <-------------if i were you, best is not joining the armored transport. Their contract pay them more then they pay the employees. When you work so hard, fully honest, risks your life everyday, but at the end. they still don't care if you get shot, the branch manager even say it out when there's a speak out. "in this company, you are guilty first then prove yourself to be innocent", "in this company, we don't trust nobody". that mean the manager use you to get the job done.
