we need to explain about it for the first.

in the middle of 90's, As foreign countries abolish standing 8 count,
Japanese boxing commission also decided that they don't take standing 8 count.
meanwhile, Japanese Professional Boxing Association had demanded
revive of standing 8 count due to get popularity of boxing.
due to same reason, they have never made "2 minute round" match in japanese male boxing history.
longer, more knock outs, more tough, more dangerous, more excitement they want.
they thought rapid stoppage is disturbance for their business.

it's unknown when Japanese boxing commission changed their thought and revived standing 8 count,
but in March 2002, it was already done.
(honestly these two organizations are almost same, these are on same basis)
(commission is just observer and caretaker of fight which made by association)
