why do we see romantic relationships and marriage as the highest form of human realtionship if twim flames meet in romantic relationship very rarely? so confusing it makes me mad!

Romantic relationships are idealized because they are the precursor for relationships of co-creating love. They are the personification of Alpha and Omega of the creator once again becoming one to bring forth new actualized creation.

@colorfulteardrops so the conclusion would be that romantic relationships are indeed the highest form of human relationship. thank you for this clarification, but it is still confusing to me. i can even understand the separation but when one flame incarnates in a tree and other in a cat i dont understand, and even less when twin flames are for ex sisters or parent and a child. in one life you are in romantic relationship and in another completely non-sexual..confusing

They are not necessarily the highest form, as there really is no hierarchy, they are just different terrains for expressions of love. Certainly, it is the most intimate, but that is not to say it is a conduit where the love is greater than between a mother and a child, a mentor and a student, best friends...like colours of a rainbow, each is a different expression to what we call love.

Romantic relationships are sought after with gusto because they are powerful in their expression of intimacy. But do not confuse intimacy with love, as true love can be expressed mightily from afar.

Please note that the twin-flame dynamic is a very very rare one and reserved for powerful relationships of collaboration.

It is possible you are confusing the Twin Flame concept with soul-mates, which is an entirely different matter. Bless wishes,

Do not get frustrated. There is a lot of misinformation imparted on this topic by those who either are ignorant or seeking to exploit the masses and prey on peoples insecurities to maximize profitability. The intensity in a Twinflame relationship is a collaborative and creative one, and a shared powerful creative energy. That is the distinction. It is not of the romantic/passionate variety that many associate with it.

@colorfulteardrops well if the twin soul is indeed youre other part of the soul, you are one, then that realtionship has to be of the highest form and most intense. it just seems so logical to me. i do understand the difference between soul mates and flames, i think. still it is such a mystery to me.
