@AntiIgnorantDimwit If you want it Manfrotto makes a tripod quick release head that has a plate with this attachment under it. I actually think you need to buy for connector from Black Rapid but all the info is on there site.

I have the 5 and the biggest problem I have with the r-strap so far is exactly shooting vertical. I'm not sure if i have tighten it to much then it was designed, I just can look at the view finder comfortably in those cases that i have to detach the camera.

How good is this strap when shooting vertical. Is there enough play in the strap.

I own the RS-7. The only concern I have is the way it hangs at the back with the LCD screen rubbing against the hip. Would it be a good thing to buy a protective cover for the LCD to prevent scratching or other damage?
