And thus, it begins...

I have filmed six battles for the qualifers and so far I think it trumps the last few series' easily! Matches nearly hit the three minutes limit, 'bots are still moving after being trashed and there's a few surprises here and there. And that's just round 1!

Once both episodes of the Qualifying round are up you'll be asked which losing competitor you want to give another chance in the main competition via the poll on www.legorobotwars.weebly.com
*Edit - Poll now closed*
Earthquaker v Outrage was filmed first, apologies for how bad it is compared to the rest. Footage-wise that is...

Part 2 should be up soon, perhaps today maybe tomorrow. I pulled an all-nighter getting this one done, so we'll have to see...z.z.z...zzzzz

Enjoy : )

Outrage - named by smellmyskunk2

P.S. if you like the main theme music, let me know so I can continue to use it for this series.

  • Are you going to make a new season for 2012? cause your vids are awesome!!!

  • @432Death Series 7 is filmed

  • How do you make these so well? -_-

I make legobots as well, but not powered - just push along. They are capable of surviving a small fall (like off a table onto a wooden floor). I never hollow mine out because against my spinners which ARE electrical (due to scratching myself on one) are often easy to beat when the robot is solid inside, whereas if it wasn't, the spinner could rip the side away and tear the guts out of it.

  • @TheHogsOfWarKing I used to do push-alongs (along with the pullbacks) long time ago. Spinning weapons where also electric and I often made a chassis with paper shells to rip apart. Ah, those days...

  • Where d oyou get the caterpillar tracks from. I can't find any on ebay and the only sets that have them are too expensive when all I want from them are those grey tracks.

  • @legomailman The grey ones from the Bulldozer and the Excavatar set. You'll get them in some current large technic sets. They're rubbish on wood...

  • @helloface001 I haven't watched it for a while, but it is a really good form of stress killing. Seeing Lego robots smash to pieces and get thrown about is really funny to watch, especially when that robot with the massive green wheels comes on (I forgot its name) because it always ends up in the pit and then it gets lifted out. Then an annotation says "You didn't see that..." or something like that. XD

  • @TheHogsOfWarKing Hay cool you watch this series too :) nice

  • @helloface001

And a brilliant one. Hopefully in the future Flippers will become more powerful using spring power for the flipper as CO2 is just plain dangerous.

  • looks like outrage is gonna need a bit of rebuilding

  • 10:17 History is made. 1st OOTA

  • I named my #4 seed after overdrive :)
