Video Response to "The (so called) Blasphemy Challenge"
http://www.blasphemychallenge.com

«Show the world how sure you are that the Christian God doesn't exist!
You may damn yourself to Hell however you would like, but somewhere in your video you must say this phrase: "I deny
the Holy Spirit."
Why? Because, according to Mark 3:29 in the Holy Bible, "Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven;
he is guilty of an eternal sin".
Jesus will forgive you for just about anything, but he won't forgive you for denying the existence of the Holy Spirit.
Ever. This is a one-way road you're taking here».

That's what you say.
But if you don't believe the Bible at all you will not follow it nor to win the prize of hell.
So your "challenge" is pure... idiocy.
What do you really show the world?
No fear of God?
No fear of hell?
Strength of mind?
No: you show nonsense... fearlessly.
Perhaps you'll shock some christians.
Certainly your idiocy will not deface the eternal glory of the Lord.
Did you blaspheme? Probably yes.
Did you commit the "unforgivable sin"? Maybe not... for it is much more than five words: it's your whole being.
So you are not even sure to be "unpardonable". And there is no one-way road here.
Remind. Peter denied Jesus 3 times and became the first Pope. Paul persecuted Christians and became the "Apostle to the Nations".
«They will look on the one they have pierced».
What does the Holy Spirit matter to us?

THE HOLY SPIRIT in the Bible is Lord and Giver of life.
He spoke through the Prophets.
He guides into all truth.
He brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control... and other stuff some people hate and deny.
He who denies the Holy Spirit of the Bible also denies life, truth, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control... and so is marked by shame.
Veni, Sancte Spiritus.
Come, Holy Spirit.

  • Crap!

  • Yup. Pure bullshit. The fact that people continue to believe such tripe continually stokes my belief in the vastness of human stupidity.

  • I deny the Holy Spirit.

I am not denying love, patience and kindness. I am only denying a superstition, like Santa.

  • I don't deny love, patience, kindness. I deny a god who tortures dissenters. There is no evidence that God or Hell exist. So, your video tells me nothing about reality, but it does tell me quite a lot about you. You have embraced, based on no evidence, the notion that the creator of the universe is a psychopathic, sadistic monster who tortures anyone who doesn't believe in him. What a horrible idea. Instead of letting ancient fiction do your thinking for you, why not try thinking for yourself?
