@MsDeadman1998 for all vegas pro 11 guys: when you opend the type title there is a little button with 4 squares on it next to the timeline. click it...there you can select "fly in"

@HatTrickH3ro Glad you found it helpful! I try to stay as basic as I can in my tutorials, which sometimes makes the video a few minutes longer, but I figure it helps out beginners!

As soon as I get rid of the text to put my own in all the effects go away. Why is this??

@CookieLovingZombie - Make sure you're putting the effects on the background like I did. Also, it may look like the effects go away when you change your text, but make sure you watch it back fully as it may just be lag or such.
