I'm very much so inspired by the women in this era. I think that they're the most elegant and classy of women. So I wanted to make a tutorial on a simple vintage hairstyle that you can give a try =]

Materials you will need for the hairstyle:
several bobby pins
hairspray
brush or comb or BOTH!
One hair elastic (optional)

You can change up this style however you may like, leave it down, french twist it up, low side pony tail, hair swept to one side, bangs up or down. Whatever you like =D

This Hairstyle works best if you have some texture or curl in your hair.

Thanks For watching, please subscribe ;)

  • We would be best friends. 1940s and She & Him are the best things ever.

  • Odd suggestion: you should dress up as Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" for Halloween next year. lol You look like her!!!

  • Did you curled your hair before or thats how it is naturally? Is really pretty!

  • I like venturing out to get these classic looks .Instead of that straightened style that is out . what about a 20 30's look . would love to see how you work that. any way what is the music artist in the background .....Thanks

  • I thought my quest for a quick 40s hairdo would be impossible with a layered shag... thanks for proving me wrong!!

  • Wow, when I first saw you, I thought you were Rachel McAdams. <3

  • i mean <3 HAHA. Fail xD

  • I -3 Zooey !!

  • where did you get your shirt if you don't mind :)

  • How did you curl your hair like that or is it natural? if its natural im SOOO jealous!

  • @bitchiecupcake The major staple hair styles of the 40's did not include a full fringe, it was more common in the 50's and the 60's.

  • @RebeccAcoustic you were mis-informed on that one hun. Most women had rather thick fringes. picture bette davis, joan crawford, dorthy graehm, etc. but u are right you can do it without one.
