@kingspadeization I am from Britain (UK) and over here, we are not fortunate enough to have the rise against album released over here, I am not in America - hence the reason I have been trying to find the words to the lyrics.

According to the band, Tim McIllrath specifically: While the song was INSPIRED by the events after BOTH Hurricane Katrina AND The BP oil spill, it can be used in reference to ANY world issue. Before one performance, they dedicated it to those affected by the tsunami and earthquake in Japan. In any case, point being: it is not limited to either event.
Personally, I would like it if people were to RESEARCH things before they decide it is so black and white.
