@FIFA07Addicted Actually... that was my point in my first comment xD I mixed up a few words... yeah I'm not used to english proverbs or something. But isn't completing a lap faster, the same as having a better lap?

ok, I can drive cars below 500 HP without TC, but above that I can't just use my controller and accelerate out of corners as I want.

I used STM once or twice when I had the game new and It slows you a lot more down than TC :/ And I don't think GUN1T123 uses that.

@ptuku oh and there´s also STM and ABS, but ABS is ok in my book, since you need no special skill just to brake smoothly, its just a pain the ass.

@ptuku is important because thats how you know how a car truly feels even if you dont reach top speeds, and forza is a simulation, not as accurate as RL, but very close.

@ptuku no dont mix things up. you said BETTER not FASTER, and no its not the same thing. and cars are only faster in hard turns without TCS, in easy turns and straight lines, its pretty much the same thing. you´re just proving my point: a skilled driver will have better times without TCS than a noob driver with it, but the noob will crash many times without TCS and the skilled driver wont. and yes I can, to be honest its a question of practicing to develop your skills. and driving a car in RL

@FIFA07Addicted it's obvious you watched my channel if you think I'm a 'fanboy' of GT5. who cares.... Haven't seen similar footage with Forza yet though.

And if I've never drove a car, what's the point? Do you race with your car? reached the limits of it? They're both games for freaking consoles...

And what about the other assist? do they make racing easier? You only mentioned TCS so far.

BTW In the Netherlands, driving-license is from the age of 18.

@FIFA07Addicted you're mad? because I said that assist doesn't make people RACE faster? I understand that people who really suck will drive better.. but most cars are just faster using no TCS in the hands of a skilled driver. with a steering wheel, and pedals course.

And be honest, can you drive in a race'game' (everybody happy >.>) using a regular controller, no TCS and still be consistent in races? I can't because I can not control the triggers as good as real pedals.
